Back Story
Born
in Southern California in 1979 on the 29th of May (that’s JFK, Bob
Hope, and G.K. Chesterton’s birthdays—you always remember the famous folk), Abel’s lived in Cali most of his
life, save for an extended European sojourn at the turn of the
millennium. He earned his degrees in literature and philosophy from
the University of California, Irvine, making him classically trained
to deconstruct your socks off. A love of knowledge, experience,
language, cultures, and ideas forms the backbone of his writing.
Syncretism is the name of the game.
Abel is best known
for his Star Wars work for a variety of Lucasfilm-licensed
publications. He fills a pithy niche as the fanatic’s fanatic,
making fanboy dreams come true.
